Every song is a masterpiece and definitely easier to consume than <em>&#8216;Ok Computer&#8217;<\/em>. Seeing them perform <em>&#8216;Street Spirit (Fade Out)&#8217; <\/em>live is a definite highlight for me.<\/p>\n<h3>2. The album that initiated my favourite era of music <strong>Brit Pop<\/strong>. Lyrically loose but it doesn&#8217;t matter as the tunes hold their own. Play it, play it loud!<\/p>\n<h3>3. Heavy angst music at it&#8217;s finest. <strong>Kurt Cobain&#8217;s<\/strong> voice to this day is one the most iconic. Listen to <em>&#8216;Where Did You Sleep Last Night&#8217;<\/em> on the <strong>MTV<\/strong> live album to hear what it can do<\/p>\n<h3>4. The Sun Is Often Out : Longpigs<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B004BO8KQW\/ref=as_li_tf_il?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B004BO8KQW\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ASIN=B004BO8KQW&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/e\/ir?t=storytag-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B004BO8KQW\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>A really interesting <strong>Brit Pop<\/strong> album that experimented all the way. <em>&#8216;On and On&#8217;<\/em> is simply beautiful and is down as one of my funeral songs.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Peaceful The World Lays Me Down : Noah And The Whale<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B001AQ8WLC\/ref=as_li_tf_il?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B001AQ8WLC\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ASIN=B001AQ8WLC&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/e\/ir?t=storytag-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B001AQ8WLC\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>This may seem an odd choice but I don&#8217;t care. This album always makes me smile when I listen to it. A perfect happy summer album. <em>&#8216;Rocks And Daggers&#8217;<\/em> ending is tremendous<\/p>\n<h3>6. Abbey Road : The Beatles<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B0025KVLUQ\/ref=as_li_tf_il?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B0025KVLUQ\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ASIN=B0025KVLUQ&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/e\/ir?t=storytag-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B0025KVLUQ\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>So many great <strong>Beatle&#8217;s<\/strong> album but this one just edges it. I absolutely love the 6 song medley at the end. It must have been a risk at the time but it paid off. Simply awesome!<\/p>\n<h3>7. This album has iconic tunes such as <em>&#8216;Park Life&#8217;<\/em>,<em> &#8216;This Is A Low&#8217;<\/em> and <em>&#8216;Girls And Boys&#8217;<\/em>. This was the Essex answer to <strong>Oasis<\/strong>, not even close but not a bad attempt.<\/p>\n<h3>8. Youth And Young Manhood : Kings of Leon<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B0000CEOWP\/ref=as_li_tf_il?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B0000CEOWP\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ASIN=B0000CEOWP&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/e\/ir?t=storytag-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B0000CEOWP\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>Raw! This album made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. To this day I still can&#8217;t determine what the hell he is singing about. Listen to <em>&#8216;Joe&#8217;s Head&#8217;<\/em> loud for the hair thing<\/p>\n<h3>9. Hats Off To The Buskers : The View<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/B000LC58EK\/ref=as_li_tf_il?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=1634&amp;creative=6738&amp;creativeASIN=B000LC58EK\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ws.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/widgets\/q?_encoding=UTF8&amp;Format=_SL110_&amp;ASIN=B000LC58EK&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;ID=AsinImage&amp;WS=1&amp;tag=storytag-21&amp;ServiceVersion=20070822\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.co.uk\/e\/ir?t=storytag-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=2&amp;a=B000LC58EK\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>An awesome collection of rocky pop songs. This album had the ability to cheer me up regardless of my mood. <em>&#8216;Skag Trendy&#8217;<\/em> is my favourite on the album so please please please give this tune a go!<\/p>\n<h3>10. A girl drummer? It all culminated in a unique sound, a unique sound I love.
